Jason loves to make art.

His first love was film, and as a kid he wanted to grow up to be a filmmaker. During his studies on cinematography, he picked up a passion for photography, too, and worked in his youth as a photographer, editor, and camera man for production companies, all the while drawing at home for fun.

Somewhere in his 20s he decided to switch gears and follow his passion for drawing as a career path. He studied at various schools along the west coast with one eye on fine art and another on entertainment design. During the day he would do concept art for video games, and at night he would be hanging his figure drawings for galleries.

By his 30s he had secured a spot at an animation studio and worked his way from concept artist to art director, appearing in the credits for projects from clients like Disney, LEGO, Marvel, and more.

He still goes to life drawing sessions regularly, expands his drawing inventory, and continues to work and teach in the entertainment design space. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their menegerie, dogs Honey and Momo, and cats Meeper and Gizmo.
